In January and February 2021, SEBI Officers Exam 2020 shall be conducted by the Securities and Exchange Board of India. In the organization, to fill up 147 Senior Officers post the examination will be conducted. On the official site of SEBI, sebi.gov.in the official notice regarding the same is available.
As per the official notice, for the recruitment of officers in Grade A, the Securities and Exchange Board of India has stated that on January 17 and February 27, 2021, respectively, Phase I and phase II online examinations will be held. For the posts the last date to apply has been extended till October 31, 2020.
Earlier on April 12,2020 the Phase 1 examination was supposed to be conducted and on May 2, 2020 Phase II was scheduled. Due to the pandemic the examination was then cancelled. Till May 21, 2020 the deadline was extended.
Three-stage- Phase I (on-line screening examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each), Phase II (on-line examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each), and Phase III (Interview) is involved in the process of selection. For the Interview round, candidates who will qualify in Phase I as well as Phase II examination will have to appear .
On March 7, the application process for the same started and on October 21, 2020 the process would would end . For Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) a total of 147 vacancies were notified by the market watchdog to hire legal as well as IT experts, researchers, and other officials for general administration.
