On the official website, for those who have qualified civil services prelims exam 2020 the detailed application form, DAF has been released by the Union Public Service Commission, UPSC . To fill the application form all those who have to appear in the exam can visit the official website upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in .
On the official website, till November 11, 2020, 6 pm the application will be available . From January 8, 2021, across different centers of India the exam would be conducted. The detailed timetable is yet to release on the website.
How to fill the application form of UPSC CSE Mains 2020:
- Candidates need to visit the official website
- On the homepage, click on the UPSC DAF Main form
- Followed by this, you would be redirected to a new page
- Fill the registration form 1 and proceed to Application form 2
- Complete the details required and submit
- Save a copy for future reference
According to the official notification released by the Commission, ‘for the Main Examination, a Candidate shall be required to submit on-line Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) along with scanned documents/certificates in support of date of birth, category [viz. SC/ST/OBC (without OBC Annexure)/EWS [Economically Weaker Section] (without EWS Annexure)/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman) and educational qualification with required Examination Fee.’
As per the extant Cadre Allocation Policy applicable for CSE 2020, it must be noted that all the candidates who wish to indicate IAS/IPS as their Service preference would need to indicate all the Zones and Cadres in the order of their preference in the on-line Detailed Application Form-II .
