UPSC Advt No 11/ 2017 – Apply Online for 72 Senior Grade Posts: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published a notification for the recruitment of 72 Senior Grades of Indian Information Service Group ‘B’ (Gazetted) in Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for different languages. Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 29-06-2017 by 23:59 Hrs. You could read the necessary details such as limit, educational qualification, selection process & how to apply below :
- Age Limit: Candidates beyond 30 years shall not be considered. Age relaxation is admissible in accordance with presribed rules.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a degree from a recognized University or Institute, Diploma/ Post Graduation Diploma in Journalism/ Mass Communication from a recognized University, Institution or a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from a recognized University/ Institute, have 2 years experience of journalistic, publicity or public relation work in Government Department/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Organisation/ News agency/ Newspaper registered with the Registrar of News papers of India (RNI)/ any other Listed Private Organization.
- Selection Process: Candidates shall be chosen on the basis of recruitment test which will be followed by interview.
- Application Fee: A fee of Rs. 25 shall be applicable for all applicants by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash/ by using net banking facility of the SBI/ by using visa/ master credit/ debit card. No fee is applicable for SC/ ST/ PH/ women candidates from any community. Further, there is no fee exemption available for OBC male candidates.
- How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through website www.upsconline.nic.in on or before 29-06-2017 by 23:59 Hrs.
- Instructions for Applying Online:
1. Before applying online, candidates have to scan copies of their photographs & signatures.
2. Log on the website www.upsconline.nic.in
3. Click on ‘Online Recruitment Application (ORA) for Various Recruitment Posts’.
4. Choose the desired post & Click on ‘Apply Now’.
5. Fill all the details carefully & submit the form.
6. After successful registration, an unique registration id will be allotted, note down the id & password.
7. Fill up your personal profile, contact details, age relaxation, if applicable.
8. Further, fill up the details of your educational qualifications and experiences.
9. Then, fill the details of professional registration, language, miscellaneous module.
10. Now, choose the Recruitment Test Centre.
11. And, upload the soft copies of your relevant documents in ‘Document Upload Module’.
12. After you are finished with the last step, preview the ORA form and check the details carefully.
13. After being completely satisfied, click on ‘Submit’ .
14. Candidates can pay fee using the Internet banking facility in SBI or other associated banks or through Visa/ Master Debit or Credit card issued by any Bank/ Institution.
15. Your Transaction ID & Date of Registration details will be uploaded automatically.
16. Further, pay the fee through cash at any branch of State Bank of India through Pay-in-Slip.
17. You will be alloted a transaction id , revisit the website and click on the “Click here to view your Previous/ Currently active applications”.
18. Log in by your registration id & password, candidates can see ‘My Active Application (My draft Application)’ link.
19. Enter your transaction id and date of Transaction if paid through cash.
20. Click ‘Continue’, check the payment details and submit the application.
21. Lastly, take a printout of online application for future reference.
