You did all the hard work in you boards exams to score maximum marks so that you can take admission in a prestigious college. But now that you took admission, your home is far away from college. These are the top 11 problems faced by people who come to college from distant places:

1. You are not eligible to avail a hostel because you are from Delhi and hostels are meant for out station students only. You can’t take up PG because according to your parents it is illogical to stay there when you have a home here.

3. Metro is your best traveling option for the simple reason that it is almost always on time, it is air conditioned so you don’t have to bear the extreme weather conditions of Delhi, and most of your friends travel by metro so you have a good company halfway till home.

 

4. You always complete your dose of sleep in the metro because as a student you never sleep before 2 in the morning, now that you live far you have to get up early to attend the first class in the morning, so metro is the sweet mother’s lap for you. Even coming back from college you doze off mostly.

5. You always take a day off when you have a single class because taking the pain of traveling all the way from home to college for just one class is too much.

6. You always reach college before time or you get so late that you reach too early for the next class. And both the situations suck.

7. When you first joined college you were always in a hurry to reach home early. Now you as well as your parents have made peace with the fact that e cardyou’ll never come home before 8. And when you reach early, they are almost always shocked.

8. Now that you are far away from home, you try to complete maximum tasks in one day, you shop, eat out, hang around, and while going home if you still have time, you pick up groceries. Because you don’t want to go home early.

9. You know all the metro as well as road routes by heart. All the traveling has made you a walking GPS.

10. You hate going out on Sundays or any other holiday because you need to sleep and relax on the day while you are still at home.

 

11. Your friends never come to your place for a party, get together or a sleep over because they think it will take them 3 days traveling from their place to yours.
