The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 goes on an open sale in India through Flipkart. The budget smartphone was launched in India at the end of 2018 and was previously made available through a flash sale on Flipkart.
Asus has launched all of its Zenfone Max Pro M2 variants on an open sale now. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC and runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The smartphone is available in 3 variants: 3GB/32 GB storage, 4GB/64 GB storage, and 6GB/64 GB storage priced at ₹12,999, ₹14,999 and ₹16,999 respectively. While 3GB and 4GB variants are available and up for grabs, the 6GB variant is listed as sold out already.
The Zenfone Max Pro M2 is a successor of Asus’s previous model Max Pro M1 which had created a lot of hype among users for its performance and battery life for a budget smartphone. The newer version is said to be even more powerful and optimized than its predecessor.
The new Max Pro M2 rocks a 6.26-inch full HD+ display (1080*2280 pixels) with a 19:9 aspect ratio and supports dual-SIM (nano). The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and runs on stock Android with 3GB, 4GB or 6GB ram depending on the variant. The internal storage also differs from one variant to another while all of them are expandable up to 2 TB using a micro SD card.
The phone also sports a dual vertical camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor( f/1.8 aperture) coupled with a 5-megapixel depth sensor for the Bokeh effect. The rear camera setup features IES and 4k video recording support along with an LED flash. On the front the smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash.
On the connectivity front, the phone includes 4GVoltE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V 5.0, GPS, FM radio, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a micro USB port. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the back to provide added security. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is powered by a 5000 mAh battery and weighs 175 grams.
