ACPC declares 1st round seat allotment result for 2017, check for BE admissions here

Recently, the seat allotment results for Undergraduate Engineering (B.E) Degree programs for the first round has been released by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) at the official websites – or The applicants for admission can now view their result at the official site.

Confident enough, Anis Mankad, the Commissioner of technical education had made it very clear that the admission would be completed under any circumstances by July 31 and classes for the new term would begin from August 3.

The applicants can check their result by following these steps

Step 1: Log onto the official website for ACPC
Step 2: Click on the registration tab on the homepage
Step 3: Fill up the details

Your result will then be displayed. For reference purposes, you can take a printout.

Every year, centralised admission in all private and government engineering and pharmacy colleges affiliated to state-run Gujarat Technological University (GTU) is conducted by the ACPC. Based on the students’ merit in the JEE (main) conducted at all India level, seats are distributed. Nevertheless, for students having studied in Gujarat located schools too, ACPC conducts admissions.

According to an analysis done by the education department, around 24,000 seats in engineering colleges across the state are expected to remain vacant this year. This is because about 48,000 students have cleared GUJCET, where the total seats to be occupied were 72,000 in 132 colleges, leaving out a vacancy of 24,000 students, as mentioned above.
