On Tuesday, the ministry of education has given some relaxation in the criteria for admission to Bachelor of Architecture course , keeping in mind that the class 12 board exams were partially cancelled.

Ramesh Pokhriyal,  ‘Nishank’ who is the Union Education Minister tweeted that keeping in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic across the country and the step which was taken by several boards regarding the partial cancellation of class 12 exams, on the recommendations of Council of Architecture the Ministry of Education has taken a final decision to relax the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Arch Course for the year 2020-2021.

He added on to more information, that candidates who have taken PCM  and have passed the 10+2 scheme of examination  or 10+3 diploma with Mathematics subjects shall be eligible for taking admission to the first year of B.Arch. Course for 2020-2021.

He added in another tweet that the respective candidates should have successfully qualified an aptitude test in #Architecture, i.e. #NATA or #JEE for admission to the B.Arch. Course. He wished all the best to candidates who are looking forward for admission to the Course. There is much more to changes this year in the education because of the current pandemic condition.
