The BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Centre) is offering recruitments for the 12th pass candidates with handsome wages. Recruitments are on the posts for driver, pump operator, fireman, and sub officer.

Candidates applying for the recruitment must have cleared their high school studies in Science stream with subjects including chemistry.

The selection of eligible candidates for these posts will be done through written examination and physical test. According to the official notification of BARC, a total of 40 recruitments are offered.

Eligibility Criteria for BARC recruitment

Only those candidates who have cleared class 12th with chemistry subject in Science stream are eligible. Out of the total released vacancies, 16 for the post of driver, pump operator, and fireman. While 4 vacancies are for the post of sub officer.

For the post of driver and pump operator, entry pay will be 27,000+allowances. The applying candidate should have one year of experience of driving a heavy vehicle with license. Also a certified fire fighting equipment course.

For the post of sub-officer, entry pay will be 35,400+ allowances.The applying aspirant must have a heavy vehicle driving licence. Also  a course certificate of sub-officer from National Fire Service College is required.

Recruitment process

For recruitment process at BARC, willing candidates should apply via speed post at the given address- Administrative Officer-III, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, PB No.-1, Yelwal, Mysore – 571130.

Application form can be downloaded from  BARC website- www.barc.gov.in/careers. Application forms should be filled precisely and all required documents must be attached to it before sending the speed post.

The age limit is 18 to 27 years for General Category and EWS. While 30 years for OBC and 32 years for ST and SC. Last date for submission of application forms is October 15′ 2021.
