The Bihar government has published its 10th and 12th results. It is the first state to declare the results despite the pandemic attack. the result outbursted on May 26 at 12:30 pm. Of the total of 14,94,071 students who appeared for the matric exam, only 12,04,030 have passed the exam. There was a slight decrease in the pass percentage from 80.73% in last year to 80.59% in this year

Breaking the trend, the pass percentage of boys is greater than that of girls. A student named Himanshu Raju topped the exam this year with a score of 96.20%. Almost 41 students have taken the top 10 spots. The third rank is backed up by three students.

The state witnessed a total of 14 lakh candidates. in that 7,29213 were boys and 7,64858 were girl s. However, 6,13,485 boys and 5,90,545 girls passed the exams. In addition, 4 students’ marks have been with-held. More pass percentage is seen in second division.

The Bihar board states that it had conducted the exams between February 17 to February 24. The board held a total of 90 lakh answer papers of class 10 and 73 lakh papers of class 12. The answer paper contains a photograph of the student along with barcode and lithocode to prevent from any sort of malpractice.

The state was able to able to correct the papers with social distancing and other parameters taking into account. They also used software to accelerate the process. The process for paused for two times during the pandemic.
