The Dialogue India Conclave held in Dubai has honored an Indian University with a prestigious award, which has shook the head of India a little more high.
Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU), based in Dubai has received the award for best skill development university in India. The university offers best in class skill development courses and is the first pure Indian university to introduce ‘Swiss Dual’ system of education in India.
What is Swiss Dual System of Education?
Swiss Dual System is an educational system where students are given both theoretical training as well as on field practical training. The students in this practice are hired by the companies as a trainer to teach them the practical skills as well as the educational school provides in-house trade specific and general knowledge.
The student need to visit the vocational/educational institute once or twice a week and rest of the days he/she works in the training company to seek the on ground knowledge.

BSDU is the first university in India catering only skills programs. It offers programs like Skill Certificate, Diploma, Advance Diploma, Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc), Master pf Vocation (M.Voc)and Ph.D in various skill areas.
The programs are in compliance with UGC instructions for Vocational Programs, National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF), National Occupational Standards (NOS) etc.
