On the official website, Common Admission Test, CAT 2020 Answer Keys are expected to be released soon. Across the country on November 29, 2020, Indian Institute of Management, IIM Indore successfully conducted the CAT 2020 examination . As per past trends, within 2 days of the exam date the answer keys are released . By second week of January, 2021 the results are scheduled to be announced .
As many as 2.27 lakh candidates registered for CAT 2020 which was conducted in revised pattern this year. The provisional answer keys for all the three slots would be released online on the official website iimcat.ac.in for inviting objections, if any.
All those who have appeared for the examination are advised to keep a check on the official website. The window to raise objections on the answer keys usually remains open for three to four days. Candidates would be required to raise objections online and pay the fees. No objection or representations regarding the answers would be received after the window has closed.
As per the official notice, the CAT 2020 results are likely to be announced by mid of January. In the past, CAT results are usually released by January 5 or within the first week. Results would be based on the final answer keys which would be prepared following the objections received.
Admissions to various IIMs and other top management colleges in the country would be done on the basis of CAT 2020 score. Candidates may please note that the validity of the CAT score is only for one year. Also, the percentile requirement or cut offs would be released by the IIMs and other colleges separately.
Qualifying CAT does not guarantee admission in any IIM. It is only a qualifying examination and the final admission is based on various parameters as set by the different IIMs from time to time.
