The Common Admission Test (CAT 2020) is scheduled on 29th of November this year. The exam will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Indore. Candidates have to register in online for the exam and the registration portal will be open from August 5 to September 16.
The exam is held in 156 different cities and the candidates can choose their preferred cities for writing the exam. They will be choosing a maximum of 4 cities in their preference list. CAT exam act as a gateway for admission to management courses, including PGP, PGDM, PGPEM, EPGP, PGPBM, PGPEX, at various IIMs and other B-schools across the country.
Students should have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum pass percentage of 50% for the general category and with at least 45% for the reserved category- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD).
The application fee for the general category is fixed at Rs 2000 and for the candidates in the reserved category can write the exam at Rs 1000.
