CBSE has finally declared much awaited CBSE NEET 2017 results. The students can check their respective results from the official CBSE website, www.cbseresults.nic.in or CBSE NEET website www.cbseneet.nic.in. This year a total of 10,90,085 students had written the NEET entrance test which was conducted in the month of May 2017. Out of this, a total of 6,11,621 students have cleared the test and moved on to the next level.

Like every year, this year too female candidates have outnumbered male aspirants. of the total number of students selected, around 3,45,313 were female students while only 2,66,221 were male candidates.

NEET 2017 various Quota seat:

After the decleration of CBSE NEET 2017 results yesterday, the admissions of students to various colleges will be done considering these categories:

  • All India Quota Seats
  • State Government Quota Seats
  • Management/NRI Quota Seats/Dental Colleges Seats
  • Central Pool Quota

NEET 2017 All India Quota Seats: 15% Seats

Like every year, The Director General of Health Services (DGHS), Govt. Of India will be conducting counselling for the All India Quota seats which is around 15%. All the candidates which fall in this category, can go to www.mcc.nic.in to check further information like NEET 2017 cutoff or quota details etc.

The counselling for this quota will be stopped as and when the seats are fully covered.

NEET 2017 State Quota Seats:

Another important category which would be used to assign seats to the NEET aspirants is State Quota Seats. Under this, students would be counselled by their respective state authorities. After the counselling, students can apply to their states according to the rank they have got in NEET 2017 entrance exam.

CBSE ha also said that, the counselling for private medical colleges will also be done by the respective state authorities.

The information about counselling for various quotas will be available n the websites of Ministry of Health, Govt of India.
