CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has released the compartment date sheet for class 10th and 12th on its official website.
The date & timings are as below:
Class 10th-
- Date: 2nd July, 2019 (Tuesday)
- Timing: 10:30 am
Class 12th-
- Date: 2nd-10th July, 2019
- Timing: Differs for each paper
To get the detailed information about the date, timing and the subjects, the candidates can visit the official website of CBSE cbse.nic.in/newsite.
CBSE has also declared the ‘Revised schedule for submission of online application for Re-evaluation of Class 12th 2019 Examinations.’ The students can now fill the application between May 24th to May 26th, 2019. The end time is scheduled upto 5:00 pm.
Application Fee: Rs. 100/- per exam
Key Aspects
- The answer books would be distributed to candidates between 10:00-10:15 am.
- The question paper will be distributed at 10:15 am and the students will get 15 minutes time for the question paper analysis.
- The students will start writing the exam from 10:30 am onward and most of the exams will be of 3 hours.
Practicals
- Private candidates should contact the Principal of the school of their theory examination centres for date and time of practical exam before theory exam is over. The practical exam should be completed before July 5th, 2019.
- Practical exam for regular candidates should, however, be completed by June 30th, 2019.
The CBSE board examination for class 10th was held from Feb 21st-March 29th, 2019 and the result was declared on May 6th. 13 lakh students appeared for the examination. The overall pass percentage remained at 91.10%.
The examination of class 12th was held Feb 15th-April 4th, 2019. 17 lakh students appeared for the exam. However, the result was declared on May 2nd. The total pass percentage remained at 83.04.
The compartment exam is being held for the students, who were unable to clear the exam among the total no. of students.
