The Chattisgarh Board of Secondary Education(CGBSE) has come up with the cancellation of  exams for remaining papers of class 10,12. The decision has been taken because of the current situation where lockdown has been imposed on the state till May 3, 2020.

Prior to this the board had made an announcement, which stated that exams will be conducted from May 4 to May 8,2020. But now looking on the current situation arising out of coronavirus pandemic the board has cancelled it.

Earlier the state government had come up with the plan of promoting students of class 1 to 8,9 and 11. The circular stated that due to the prolonged closure, the examinations held at school level could not be conducted. It is not even possible to conduct the examination in near future. In accordance with this the government has thought of promoting students without any examination.

All the schools and colleges are closed since March 3, and will remain closed till May 3 because of the lockdown.
