CICSE class 12th marked 100% highest score this year

On Monday, The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the results for Class 10 board exams. The Results have been prepared on the basis of Continuous comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) as no exams were organized for class 10 this year due to corona virus pandemic.

This year, a total of 3,21,384 students were about to appear in the class 10 board exams. Out of which 99.93 percent have qualified. The result indicated that students of government schools performed better then private and affiliated schools.

The pass percentage of girls is slightly higher than boys. Also, the pass percentage of students from rural area is more then that of students from urban areas. Thus, although rural area students faced issues in online classes but performed better in results.

This year, due to the pandemic situations, the results are prepared using alternate assessment method where students are evaluated on the basis of their performance in Unit tests, mid-term exams and internal assessments held by schools.

The students can check there results by visiting the official site of PSEB, www.pseb.ac.in. follow the steps mentioned below to get your results:

  1. Visit the official site of PSEB as mentioned above.
  2. You will find results tab on the homepage.
  3. Click on the option for class 10 results 2021.
  4. Enter your roll number in the designated box and press enter.
  5. Your result will open up on the screen. Download it for future refrences.

If students are not able to access the website, results are also available through SMS. For this, the student has to simply message PB10 (Roll Number) and send it to 56767650. The result will be received in a replied message.

While regarding the Class 12 Board exams, the PSEB has said that they are going to conduct the exams for sure and there is no chance of cancellation of exams for them like class 10. Although the board will wait till the situations become favourable.
