CLAT 2019 exam is on 26th May, which was earlier to be held on 12th May.

CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2019 admit card is available from today 10:00 am onward on the official website of CLAT clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in

Procedure to download the admit card:

  • Visit the official website (link provided above)
  • On the homepage on right hand side click on the’login’ button.
  • Enter the required credentials (mobile no. and password)
  • Click on login button
  • Download the admit card
  • Get it printed in a hard copy

The examination, which was to be held on 12th May earlier was re-scheduled and will now be held on 26th May, 2019 as officially released on the website in Mid-March this year. The timing is scheduled from 3:00-5:00 pm. Though, the last date to apply for the exam was also extended till April 15th.

About the exam

CLAT is a Common Entrance Examination for the National Law Universities of India. It is an offline objective test conducted for admission to law universities. It is a single level test and selection is based on rank-preference criteria of the candidates.

The exam opens the gateway to 21 Law Universities in India for law aspirants seeking admissions to various Undergraduate and Post-Graduate programmes. This year the exam is being conducted by Consortium of National Law Universities, based in Bengaluru. Though last year the exam was conducted by National University of Advanced Legal Studies.

Consortium of National Law Universities

It was established in 2017 with the aim of improving the standard of legal education in the country and justice system through legal education.

The Consortium is intended to provide for better co-ordination among National Law Schools to achieve highest standards of legal education.
