According to the latest news and reports by the National Law University Odisha, it has been noted that the registration process for the Common Law Entrance Exam will soon begin in the month of January.

According to the notification, the Application forms will be out on January 10, 2019, at the official website http://clat.ac.in.

The Candidates are required to keep a regular check on the website to be aware of the availability of forms. Though the notification for the availability will reach the students as soon as the forms are released.

As per the schedule of the CLAT, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 12, 2019. Also this time, there has been observed a change in the pattern of the examination, the exam will include subjective type questions as well.

The Steps to fill the Application forms are:

Step 1: Visit the official website and register yourself using Email Id and mobile number.

Step 2: The candidates will be sent a registration number and password. Log in using the credentials.

Step 3: Fill the Application Form and upload the required documents and pay the requisite fees. The Admit Card will be provided to them right after their login.

The CLAT will be conducted in an offline mode for a duration of 2 hours. In this time duration, the students have to answer 200 MCQ type questions. As per the CLAT 2019 Syllabus, there will be 5 sections in the CLAT 2019 Exam namely – Logical reasoning, legal aptitude, GK and Current Affairs, Elementary Maths and English.

Once after clearing the CLAT 2019 exam, the students can get admission in 20 National Law Universities (NLU’s). The newest addition to the NLU’s accepting CLAT scores is HPNLU Shimla. A new NLU was also welcomed this year which is Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur.
