In the light of COVID-19 in the entire country, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2020) for this year gets again postponed.

Prof Balraj Chouhan, who is the Vice-Chancellor of Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur and Convenor of this year’s exam, has made a final declaration that the exam has been postponed for this year’s candidate.

The exam was earlier scheduled on August 22, and as per the meeting held in the afternoon, again the decision to postpone the exam has been taken,  by the Consortium of National Law Universities.

It can be clearly understood that the authorities have taken this step to ensure that all the candidates will be able to write the exam safely and proper guidelines are followed. The total number of 70,000 candidates across the country were expected to participate in the exam of this year.

After considering different other factors, the decision to postpone the exam has been taken by the community.

On August 22, the NLU Consortium had decided to hold a computer-based online test  at exam centres across the country.
