The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 will be held on 22 August 2020. The candidates who have not yet applied for the exam can do now at the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The last date to fill the application form is till July 10.

The exam was first declared to be held on May 10 which was continuously postponed to May 24 and to June 21 due to coronavirus pandemic.

It is announced that the exam will take place through a “computer-based, online, center-based” test. The official statement states that it shall release a mock test with a similar interface so that the students will be comfortable in taking up the exam. The exam will take place with all the safety protocols sanitizing, social-distancing, etc. taking into account.

This exam gateway is for the students who wish to pursue graduate and postgraduate courses in law. As per the structure is concerned, the candidates have to solve 150 questions in 2 hours. To pass the exam, a minimum 40% of the marks is required for the general category and a minimum of 35% of marks id required for the general category.

Similarly, other undergraduate level law exams include the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), Pearson VUE conducts LSAT India, The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun, conducts ULSAT, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) UET.
