Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University Bill passed in Assembly

Delhi Government on its last session of Delhi Legislative Assembly on Tuesday passed a Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University Bill (DESU), 2019 which aims at employing the youth. The bill was passed a day after Delhi Sports University Bill.

The Chief Minister of New Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal said, “Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University Bil 2019 will increase employment and help in boosting the economy of the country.”

He further said “We are concerned about the youth which has degrees but no jobs. The bill has been passed in the Vidhan Sabha. The bill intends to employ them.”

Manish Sisodia, Deputy CM and Education Minister while presenting the bill in the House said, “Nearly half of the population is under 25 years and they need dignified and quality education as their right. This university will create job opportunities for job seekers as well as job givers. It is a dream come true.”

Chief Minister Arvind said, “Unemployment is high nowadays. The economic condition of our country is very alarming with youths worried about unemployment with cluelessness t where to go.”

DESU will provide 100% placements to all its graduates. Students of this university will definitely be provided jobs. Moreover, it will create jobs for others through their entrepreneurship ventures.

The bill was passed on the last day of the Legislative session of the Delhi Assembly. On which AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) leader Arvind Kejriwal said, “We are dedicated and determined to work for the welfare of Delhi people till our last breaths.”
