Before the college admissions begin, Delhi University, DU is planning to conduct a round of open day . As a practice followed by the varsity, only at the beginning of the registration process the open days were to be conducted . This time from October 12, 2020, in an online mode the admissions are being conducted . On October 5, open day is thus being planned to be held by the varsity .
In the session, the students would be welcome to ask all their queries related to the admission process, doubts on online admission, application etc . Shobha Bagai who is the DU’s dean of admissions said the “On October 12, before the beginning of the admissions we would be having an open house .”
Adding on to more information she also stated that for the applicants the varsity was planning to conduct a webinar to help them with the calculations of the cut-offs ad percentage issues etc.
On the basis of merit as well as entrance exams conducted the schedule for the undergraduate and postgraduate admissions has been released by the Delhi University. On October 12, 2020, for admissions to merit-based UG programmes DU First Cut off List 2020 would be released . On du.ac.in, online, a total of 5 cut off lists are to be released . To complete the admission process, about two days shall be given to all students and added 2 days to complete the process of fees payment.
As per the official schedule, from 10:00 am in the morning the admission process in the colleges would be open and on 5:00 pm in the evening it would close . The dean has also informed that from September 12 the students have been allowed to edit their application forms and till October 5, 2020 they can continue to do so . After this process, the open house would be conducted.
