The Delhi University (DU), one of the oldest universities in India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the recently established Ladakh university for a variety of collaborative purposes.
The MoU aims to initiate various types of collaborations between the two universities such as the exchange of knowledge between faculties and students, joint research projects, and shared programmes.
The initial duration of this MoU is of five years which was signed by Prof. P C Joshi, The Vice-chancellor of DU, and Prof. C Phunsog, the Vice-chancellor of the Ladakh university. Various officials and authorities from both universities were also present during the signing.
Motive behind the collaboration

The well-defined infrastructure and facilities of Delhi University will help the Ladakh university to push the boundaries of knowledge and understanding and approach new ideas and innovations.
Whereas, the geographical location and varied social culture of Ladakh University will enable Delhi University to extend its limits of research and studies which will derive better results.
