Delhi University’s Teachers Association has decided to call off the strike on Friday and has decided to adopt different measures apart from a protest against the vice-chancellor for its demands to be met.
DUTA will perform intense struggle and campaign against anti-education policies and assault on teachers by the government and the DU VC, DUTA informed.
They have decided to fight for absorption of teachers working in the temporary/ ad-hoc capacity and also fight for the removal of Professor Yogesh Tyagi, who served as vice-chancellor of the university, they said.
