The DRDO (Defence, Research, and development organization) has recently announced to release vacancies for the RA (Research Associate) and JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) posts for the year 2021.

Research Associates are usually the professional researchers who have persuaded their masters. They are experienced people and have advanced extraordinary skills.

While JRF is an opportunity provided to the qualified students to persuade masters or Ph.D. It’s a future building track that finely provided experience at the field level. 

Salary and allowances

For Research Associate posts, the minimum pay provided by DRDO is Rs.54,000 per month with house rent allowances. While For the Junior Research Fellowship, the minimum salary provided will be Rs. 31,000 per month including house rent allowances.

The house rent allowance provided for RA and JRF posts will be as per the rules of the DRDO. The organization has generated a total of ten vacancies. Four vacancies for the RA post and six vacancies for the JRF post.

Application procedure

To apply for the RA and JRF posts in DRDO, you can simply log on to their official site drdo.gov.in/careers and fill the online application form.

Once the online application form is submitted, it is compulsory for all the applicants to Mail their application along with their precious work papers as an attachment to the official Email address of DRDO.

September 24 is the last date for applicants to submit the online application form. There will be no physical interview this year and due to the COVID restrictions, the mode of the interview will be online. The selected students will receive an e-mail or a call for their interview.
