DU Admissions 2020: Plea seeking college admission deadlines extension dismissed, DU Cut off dates likely soon

In today’s hearing, the plea seeking an extension of DU college admission deadlines has been dismissed by the  Delhi High Court . This also leaves a clear indication that soon DU Cut Off dates would be released. At du.ac.in, the official site of Delhi University the expected cut off would release soon. The detailed schedule would be out on the site as soon as the authority takes any decision.

Along with document verification dates for undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. level courses, the detailed schedule will have the cut-off dates. As per DU official this year , students would not come across various dips in the cut-offs. Rajesh Jha, who is the Executive Council member stated that the cut-offs for top colleges might get affected. For students those who have missed more than two papers, this can affect them.

In Delhi University, for undergraduate courses this year around 5.63 lakh candidates have registered. For the postgraduate courses, around 1.83 lakh students have registered  and for M.phil and Ph.D. courses nearly 34,000 registration IDs were received. As per the, Delhi University’s official registration data records maximum number of applicants, from Delhi there are a total of 1,42,526, which is followed by 66,657 applicants from Uttar Pradesh and around 50,701 applicants belonging to Haryana.

Meanwhile, due to a shortage of resources as well as manpower DU has informed the High Court that there before October end OBE result cannot be declared.
