DU (Delhi University) Undergraduate courses admission process is likely to take place from today. It was earlier expected that the admission process will commence from May 20th.

The last date of registration process for UG courses is expected to be May 31st, 2019. “All eligible candidates are informed that the registration process of all programmes will be completely online for all categories and quota,” mentioned the official statement released by DU.

DU is releasing the application forms today for the various UG courses- Business Economics, Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis), B.Tech (IT and Mathematical Innovations)and Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.

Though, the DU standing committee is not yet sure to as if when to issue the application forms, the DU standing committee in charge stated, “We are deciding the date of release of the application form . It can be on May 24th, 25th or 27th.”

Even the delay in the application opening for DU is in continuation from a long time. Earlier, where the application forms were expected to be released on April 29, it was further delayed to May 15th and then again postponed to May 21st. Yet, according to the official statement the students need to have a little more patience to step in for the university admission.

The accurate date of exam is not yet released though, but it is expected that the exam will likely take place in the 3rd week of June this year.

The candidates need to register for the entrance exam online on the official website of DU www.du.ac.in. It is suggested that the students keep on checking the website from today to get notified about the release of the application forms.

Eligibility:

  • The students, who have cleared their 10+2 education from a recognized board are eligible to apply for the UG courses.
  • For admission in Post-Graduate courses the student should have an undergraduate degree from a recognized institute.
  •  The pass percentage requirement is different for every course. The students can get informed about it from the Delhi University website.
  • There is no age bar for the students applying for any UG or PG course.

DU Entrance exam

The university offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in the area of Science, Commerce and Arts. The admission into these courses is based on merit and entrance exam conducted by the university.

This year the entrance exam is to be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) in the form of computer based exam.
