DU to bring new syllabus for undergraduate courses from this academic session

DU (Delhi University) is about to bring new syllabus curriculum for its undergraduate courses this year.

The new syllabus is being amended on the basis of Choice Best Credit System. The undergraduate students from this session 2019-20 will study a new curriculum in the campus.

The various departments of DU have prepared a draft for the new curriculum and DU’s Undergraduate Curriculum Revision Committee is seeking suggestions for it.

The University in this matter has sought suggestions from alumni, professors, public sectors, academics, experts and media professionals before 31st May.

28 departments of Delhi University have already uploaded 77 proposed programmes on its official website.

The CBCS syllabus, which is based on Learning Outcome Best Curriculum Framework (LOCF) of UGC (Undergraduate Grant Commission) is being planned to convert into an international level.

The committee for this has instructed the departments to send a list of other people besides two international experts and two national experts and to also seek suggestions from them via their email-ids.

The people can visit the department’s website and provide the suggestions. There will be two options on the website of ‘Yes’ and ‘No.’ If a person is satisfied with the uploaded suggestion then he might check the ‘Yes’ option and vise-versa.

If anyone is likely to give a feedback then he can write it in the feedback box.
