For all the students, the University of Delhi has planned up an online counselling services. The university has displaying a number of series of professors who can be contacted at its official portal. In addition to that, for undergraduate and postgraduate students a detailed webinar series will also be launched by the Central Placement Cell (CPC) of the varsity.

As per the notification from the university, this will start from May 4, and has been planned to be conducted from 5 to 6 pm every Monday. ‘Gen Z and jobs of the future’ would be the topic on which first web seminar would be conducted, and subsequently this would be followed by the business ethics on May 11.  Throughout the seminar, expertise from different sectors will talk upon different topics that include an introduction to data analytics, tips to make a resume, and crack interviews. This would play a major role to mould the students.

‘COVID-10 and challenges of visually impaired’ is the another topic for second webinar. Shakuntala D Gamlin,  who is the secretary disability affairs, department of empowerment of persons is likely expected to address the seminar and address students as well. The Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Tyagi will also participate and look after the smooth functioning in the webinar.

In addition to that, the application forms are yet to be released for admission at the varsity. The last date to apply for admissions have been extended for admission process for foreign students.On June 6, the applications for the master’s programme and MPhil courses will conclude while June 12 is the last date for undergraduate courses. The deadline is June 15, For PhD and one-year certificate, diploma and advanced diploma programmes. At school of open learning, UG and PG courses, have been given the deadline date till July 30.
