The Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL) in KeshavPuram has introduced 16 new unconventional certificate courses for the students who have qualified in Class 12.

These certificate courses are being offered by DU SOL in association with RK Educational Trust which is an existing industry training partner with the Delhi University Campus of Open Learning.

The certificate courses will be offered from the upcoming academic session 2021-22 through both online and offline modes. The courses are being offered in the following off-beat disciplines;

  1. cyber Security
  2. ethical hacking
  3. machine learning
  4. data sciences
  5. stenography
  6. anchoring
  7. e-accounting
  8. Video editing
  9. Animation
  10. fine arts
  11. Photography
  12. mass communication
  13. interior designing
  14. graphic designing
  15. fashion designing
  16. Film Direction
  17. Film making
  18. acting
  19. TV journalism
  20. Radio Jockey

Students who have qualified in Class 12 are eligible to enroll in these courses. The certificate courses are also open for students who are already pursuing any other undergraduate program from another institution.

DU will award a certificate to each student who successfully completes this certificate course. More details about these courses are available on the official website of DU Campus of Open Learning, http://col.du.ac.in.

According to Prof. U S Pandey, the Principal of DU School of Open Learning, these DU certifications are more affordable and considerable in comparison to other private courses.

The curriculum under these courses will be explained by experienced professionals along with training partners. The curriculum of each course will consist of Industry-mapped topics.

The duration of these certificate courses ranges from 4 to 10 months. Students can choose any course as per their preference and can also continue them along with a bachelor programme.

Mr. Deepak Bansal, The Director of RK Educational Group, said that such courses help the students to discover their creative thinking and build a strong portfolio for future work opportunities.

Admissions in all these certificate courses are being offered on an open and direct basis. The interested student will need to physically visit the Campus of Open Learning School to register themselves.
