Being postponing the exam dates for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) exam, the government has finally stated that the revised dates will be provided by July 1 and that the dates shall be frozen as long as the situation remains in control.

The Consortium of National Law Universities further told the press that the application process has been extended till July 1 and that the students will be informed 21 days prior to the exam date.

Till now it has been postponed 3 times from May 10, May 24, to June 24 and now after July 1.

The outline of the exam is as follows. The paper consists of a total of 150 questions given 2 hrs of time. One has to score above 40% in the general category and a minimum of 35% for those in the reserved category to get qualified in the exam. CLAT is a common entrance exam for all the undergrad and post-graduate law courses.
