With a late fee today, on October 12, 2020 the registration process for GATE 2021 shall be closed by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. On gate.iitb.ac.in, the candidates who have not applied for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering, GATE are required to register online. An additional late fee of Rs 500 needs to be paid by the candidate to apply for the same.
Before the scheduled time, September 12, 2020 the application process was started by the Institute. Below are simple steps which can help candidates to apply for GATE 2021 examination.
How to apply with late fee GATE 2021
- Visit the official site of GOAPS at gate.iitb.ac.in.
- On the home page, click on the GATE 2021 link available.
- Followed by this a new page would open where candidates need to enter their enrollment number or email address as well as password to login to the account.
- Enter the necessary details.
- Make the additional fee payment and application fee payment.
- Click on submit.
- Download the confirmation page.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further needs.
On October 28, for successfully registered candidates the GOAPS portal will reopen and on November 13, 2020 the final closing would be done . On January 8, 2021 the admit card would release , and on February 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14, 2021 the examination would be conducted .
Meanwhile, IIT Bombay has provided the option of changing center to the candidates who have registered. On October 28, 2020, for the successfully registered candidates institute would reopen the GOAPS registration portal . Because few candidates were probably not able to decide on the choice of examination city, the decision to reopen the registration portal was taken.
