GMAC

The Graduate Management Admission Council(GMAC), a global association of leading graduate business schools, welcomes three new members. The three newly added B-schools are ESCP Europe, WHU- Otto Beisheim School of Mangement, and Xavier’s University Bhubaneswar, bringing GMAC’s total membership reach up to 225.

The Board of Directors of GMAC invite selected business schools to become a member of their council. Each school has to go through a complex application process that asserts the commitments and mission of GMAC-  providing the tools and information necessary for schools and talent to discover and evaluate each other.

“GMAC continues to strengthen our membership of graduate business schools that are not only working to address the changing needs of students, but also understanding the landscape and what can be done to better prepare students for their careers,” said Sangeet Chowfla, president and CEO of GMAC. “Each of these three schools brings a unique approach from its area of the world. The perspectives they collectively bring to the Council will help further our mission and work to identify the opportunities and challenges faced by our industry.”

The specialties of the newly admitted members of GMAC are:

ESCP-Europe

Globally famous as the world’s first business school, ESCP was founded in 1819. It currently has campuses in Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid, Turin and Warsaw. They value their GMAC as their commitment to provide highest quality eduaction.

WHU- Otto Beisheim School of Management

WHU is another leading business school in Germany, has campuses in Vallendar and Düsseldorf. WHU’s expertise in research and teaching, which will help create GMAC its presence in Germany.

Xavier University, Bhubaneswar

One of India’s leading management schools, Xavier University Bhubaneswar believes in GMAC’s mission that every candidate deserves access to high quality graduate management education. The GMAC membership symbolises the university’s education to be exceptionally well.
