The reopening date for the school students in Goa, which was scheduled on 1st week of June, has been delayed. This decision was taken as per fresh guidelines issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

The director of education Vandana Rao said in a statement that the schools and students were informed about the reopening date previously. But as per the new circular issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the date has been postponed considering the present situation. This discussion was held on May 30.

The schools will be informed regarding the fresh dates for reopening in the near future. The senior official said that the dates shall be confirmed as per Center’s guidelines. They also advised the schools to support and aid the academic activities through online.
