Gujarat plans to host the semester exams for college students who pre prevailing in the contaminant zone, during August or September. These will be considered as regular marks. This judgment was taken through a Government Resolution held on 2/06/2020.

The GR stated that there is no need for those students, who traveled to their native, to come back as online exams will be conducted for them. For certain universities like Gujarat technological University and Gujarat University, exams will be conducted in each district, so that students can now write in their native.

The students of the intermediate semesters, it has been planned to revise the previous semester marks. The examination fee will be adjusted in the upcoming semesters.

Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama chaired a webinar of the vice-chancellors of state universities which was conducted on May 29.

Another meeting was held which instructed the universities and other affiliated colleges to windup the internal marks and directed to process for the online classes for the next semesters, 3, 4, and 7 from June 21.
