The Haryana School Education Department announced that the main services of the department will be made online. The main services include Child Care Leave (CCL), Service book, medical reimbursement, assured career pay (ACP) and loan applications.

It has been reported that this will be implemented in May 2019, making Haryana the first state to make their education services online.

In accordance with this, Haryana Secondary Education Director General Rakesh Gupta says that this service will be accessible by over 1.10 lakh employees of the secondary education department. The officials of the department will be able to monitor the performance and progress of the department.

“It has been noticed that delay in clearance of files related to employees in the existing process that travels through several hands/tables, sometimes defeats the purpose for which the employee had applied. By the end of May, all these facilities would be cleared online by different approving authorities. It would not only ensure transparency in the functioning of the department but also enhance the efficiency of employees. It would be almost on the pattern of what is done in corporate houses for employees and would of the first of its kind in the country,” Gupta asserted.

This service would help the officials to keep a record data of schools, students, also, it would help to inform the people about the newly framed policies.

It has been found that this new system will be of more help to the women employees of the department. The females account for 50% of the 1.10 lakh employees in the department.
