The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) has released the schedule for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). The deadline for applying is decided to be August 20 and the examination is scheduled somewhere in September. The process of application as well as payment of fees will be exercised through the online mode.
An Amar Ujala report says that HPBOSE will take the exam to fill seats for TGT (Arts), non-medical, medical, Shastri, Hindu language teacher and so on. A candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age as of the year of examination in order to be eligible to give the exam
For general category candidates, the fee for application is Rs 800 and for all other category candidates, the application fee rests at Rs 500.
The exam will host objective type questions, each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking in case of a wrong answer. Candidates will be having 150 minutes to complete the examination. The general category will have to score a minimum of 60% in order to meet up with the qualifying marks.
