The ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) reported to the press that the venue changing window will be open for the candidates attempting CA in July 2020 session. The change is allowed only for change in venue.
This judgment was made in view of the present situation. the correction window will be opened on June 7 from 11 am to 11:59 pm on June 9. No further changes shall be accepted.
ICAI further notified that the candidates will not be allowed to change the group or medium they registered on. The venue changes can be made in the site https://icaiexam.icai.org.
ICAI reported that “Candidates are advised to take note of the above carefully and take advantage of this reopening of the online facility being made available appropriately and stay in touch with the website of the Institute, www.icai.org for the latest announcements or updates,”.
The CA exam dates were changes twice during the lockdown period. It was first scheduled from May 2 to May 18 then to June 19 to July 4.
As per the latest judgment, the exams are now scheduled from July 29 to August 16.
