Sources say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be launching a revised syllabus for CA students from July 1 this year. Following the tax reforms, former president of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), G Ramaswamy claimed that the candidates pursuing Chartered Accountancy will increase in the next few months.

According to a The Hindu report, Ramaswamy in Coimbatore said that there are currently more than two lakh Chartered Accountants (CA) in India and at least one lakh more professionals are in demand.

In accordance with the International Education Standards of the International Federation of Accountants, the scheme of the course has been revised and formulated. With 1300 aspirants participating, a two-day conference was held in Coimbatore beginning from Saturday.

The Institute will be conducting the November’17 CA exams from November 2 to November 16, 2017. To check the full schedule for the exams for the course, you can go to the official website of ICAI. The examinations will be held at centres in 172 cities across the nation and in four cities abroad including in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kathmandu and Muscat.
