The ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) governed by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), a non-government, private board for school education in India for class X and ISC (Indian School Certificate) for class XII, has announced the exam date sheet for the academic year 2019-2020. The released date sheet for the affiliated schools for ICSE board exams will commence from February 27 while the ISC will begin from February 3, 2020.
The ICSE Board for Class X exams will commence from February 27 with English Language – Paper 1 and conclude on March 30th with Biology – Paper 3.
While the ISC Board for Class XII exams will commence from February 3 with Home Science – Paper 2 and conclude on March 31st with Art 5 Craft Paper.
The Date Sheet has not been released online but has been sent to the principals of the CISCE affiliated schools, according to an official. The detailed date sheets are expected to be released on the official website of ICSE.
Last year, the ICSE exam was held from February 22 to March 25, 2019, and the ISC exam was held from February 4 to March 25, 2019.
CISCE conducts the exams for class X and XII annually with more than 2 lakh students appearing for the exams every year.
Meanwhile, CBSE has no plan for advancing CBSE Board exams of class X and XII.
