the Indira Gandhi National Institute Open University (IGNOU) has announced to extend the deadline for new admissions and re-registration of previous students for the July session.

The revised last date for students to apply or re-register is August 16, 2021. New students who want to apply for new admission or previous students who want to re-register themselves can do the same till this revised deadline.

Interested candidates seeking fresh admission in the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) program offered by the IGNOU can apply on the online admission portal at http://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

While the previous year students who want to continue their online course can re-register themselves through the IGNOU online portal at http://iop.ignouonline.ac.in or the Samarth portal.

All the new applicants are required to create a new registration before submitting the application form. The applicant will also have to submit the latest details and documents as per the requirements of the course they choose.

IGNOU has already released a detailed admission brochure for July 2021 session. Applicants must carefully read all the instructions mentioned in this brochure before registering.

It must be noted that the re-registration process is only for those students who are currently pursuing any undergraduate, postgraduate, or diploma course for the university with a period of two or three years.

Each student who has successfully qualified in the previous year/semester must ensure that they have re-registered for the next year or semester in order to avoid any inconvenience later.

The process of applying for new admissions will continue after August 16 but with the addition of late fees. However, the re-registrations will end on 16th August. While the new session is scheduled to be commenced from September.

on the other hand, the Term-End Examinations (TEE) of June 2021 session for the UG and PG final year students are going to be conducted from August 3 and will continue till September 9.
