IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Bangalore is once again in the ranking headlines of this year. Post getting accreditation as no.1 business school in the business management category by NIRF rankings 2019, the institute has now placed itself in recently announced QS EMBA ranking 2019.
IIM Bangalore has bagged top spot in India in the QS University Rankings 2019, in the Business and Management Studies category. The institute has received the top spot, by breaking into the global 51-100 range and among the top 15 in Asia.

Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)
The Institute is ranked #1 in India among the top 25 list of schools globally according to the QS rankings of this year. Also continues to be in the top 5 list of schools in Asia-Pacific and top 30 schools, globally by the ‘Financial Times’ in Master in Management Category.
Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM)
The institute has been ranked 12th in Asia-Pacific region (APAC) and 61st globally in the QS Executive MBA rankings 2019.
Year-2018
- For 10 consecutive years IIM Bangalore is ranked no. 1 business school in central Asia region by the Eduniversal Masters Rankings, Paris.
- Ranked among top 15 list of schools in Asia-Pacific region by the QS World University Ranking 2018 in Executive MBA category.
Till last year IIMB had accorded no.1 position in the overall category of NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2019, though this year IIM-Madras has replaced IIMB.

It is an annual publication of university rankings Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a british company specialised in education. It is the only international ranking to have received International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) approval.
