New Delhi : Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-Calcutta) is ready launch its six month Advance Programme in Strategic Management (APSM) in September 2019.

Eligibility for APSM :

Working executives who are graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% marks having an experience profile of at least 7 years after graduation are eligible.

Applicants with desired work experience who do not have 50% marks in graduation but 50% or more in post-graduation can also apply.

APSM Course Fee :

It’s a six month long programme and fee as provided on IIM-Calcutta is:

Programme fee: 200000/- + (applicable taxes)

Campus fee: 88,000/- + (applicable taxes)

APSM Course Duration :

The duration of the program is six months will be delivered through online platform once in a week (Monday 6.30 pm-9.30pm).

Campus – 3 campus visits- 4 days at the beginning and 3 days towards middle of the programme and another 4 days at the end of the program.

Total no. of Contact hours: 93 hours

Who Should Attend this ?

The APSM is aimed basically for managers of any organizations who are currently in roles that require them to handle strategic issues, or managers who are looking to move into such roles.

Senior and middle level managers and profit centre heads would find the programme particularly useful.

Working professionals wishing to participate in the programme need to have a minimum 7 years experience. Managers with longer and broader experience would benefit more from the programme.

Professor Mritiunjoy Mohanty (IIM-Calcutta) said, “We aim to deliver some key learnings through this course such as understanding strategic landscapes of industries, including the interface with law and regulation, and institutional variation across nations. Strategic planning and management are the need of the hour. They are the backbone of business and enterprises and require seamless implementation for successful results.”
