Now, we have to show the world that we are at par with some of the best institutes globally. My key focus will be on improving our research output further, to have more social engagements to help the country benefit in socially relevant problems. We will also try to connect better with the industries and to help graduates set up new ventures.”

“There is no dearth of students on our campuses. We are already filled beyond our capacity. It matters for some of the countries where they do not have enough students for the resources they have generated. The reason that we need to go international is to set up collaborative, impactful research. That will be the key aspect for internalization,” he added.
