Sharing is caring and the more you share your knowledge, the more it will expand. Knowledge gives power and has no value unless you practice it. The more you travel the world, the more practical your knowledge becomes. To achieve so, IIT Kharagpur, the 4th best IIT in the country has announced dual doctoral scholarship with the University of Auckland.
IIT Kharagpur is trying to build ties with Universities across the globe for enhancing research and economic programs. Recently, IIT Kharagpur has announced a Dual Doctoral (Ph.D.) Scholarships in partnership with the University of Auckland, New Zealand. The University of Auckland is the best university in New Zealand which aims at strengthening ties between the two countries.
SK Bhattacharya, Director of IIT Kharagpur said, “We take immense pride in initiating this joint Ph.D. program with New Zealand’s top university. Some of the research areas identified for collaboration include advanced manufacturing, cyber-physical security, and advanced materials, as well as affordable healthcare and intelligent transportation technologies.”
This is the not first time when IIT Kharagpur has partnered with the foreign university for Doctoral Scholarships. The first time IIT Kharagpur collaborated for the Dual Doctoral Program (DDP) was with the University of Melbourne, Australia.
IIT Kharagpur is the first IIT of India and the first IIT to be recognized as Institute of National significance.
