London School of Economics and Political Science has introduced its Graduate Diploma course in Data Science, first time ever in India. The students, who are interested to pursue the course will be studying in the Indian school of Business and Finance (ISBF),New Delhi, which is certified to London School of Economics (LSE). It is a 1 year course open since September, 2018, whose academic session will start this year.
The candidates willing to pursue can apply on the official website of ISBF. Last date to fill the admission form is June 7, 2019. The institute will be enrolling 25 students in its first batch.
About the course
The course deals with four core modules:
- Machine Learning (ML)
- Elements of Econometrics
- Business Analytics
- Applied Modelling and Prediction
The students with/about to get this year, an undergraduate degree are eligible to apply.
Steps to apply-
- Fill and submit the application form available on the website of ISBF (link given above)
- Registered candidates will then have to appear for its entrance exam (iMET).
- Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the next round and personal interview.
- Final merit list of the selected students will be released thereafter.
At the time of admission, some students are proficient for the scholarship, which comprises a waiver upto 25% of the ISBF tution fee.
