Ambedkar University Delhi‘s Vice-Chancellor Anu Lather, who was appointed in March this year has undertook many changes in the existing educational system offered in the university.
Among the major initiatives that she is being taking forward are-
- Priortising Placements
- Starting new courses

- Increasing social media presence
Apart from this, she is also about to introduce some new programmes of Bachelors and Masters in the field of Social Work, MBA in Digital Marketing, Business Analytics and Social Media Landscape.
In conversation with The Indian Express, she said, “Efforts to ensure great placements have always been made at AUD, but priortising them is important. I would want to priortise it in a manner that placement is an integral part of the system. It doesn’t happen accidentally. We have already decided to hire a full-time centralised training and placement officer.”
She is also planning to open a studio in the campus where any scholarly person or guest, who visits would be interviewed and their lecture uploaded online on the university’s YouTube channel.
The YouTube channel is not created yet but it will be created soon officially.
