The Indian School of Business has released the Applications for its Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM), a part-time three-year doctoral level programme focussing on senior industry executive training along with required research, and will last till April 30, 2019.

Talking about this Programme, Professor Rajendra Srivastava, Dean ISB said, ‘‘There are very few options for business executive education beyond a Masters-level degree. Today’s business environment requires practitioners who can translate academic research to find solutions to specific industry issues. EFPM is specially created for senior executives who wish to deepen their understanding of research methods, and apply them to address the modern challenges of today’s dynamic business environment”.

The programme is offered to those with an experience of 8 years and above, and for being eligible to apply for this program, a bachelor’s degree in the field of Applied research in any discipline is necessary. The Program constitutes of three major disciplines namely Understand the state of theories and knowledge; Research Methodology Courses – Help build research skills; and Dissertation – Individual research projects under the mentorship of a faculty member.

This Program is focussed for training those who are inclined towards pursuing research, involving a huge amount of study of issues involved in management practices. It is also beneficial for professors teaching in business schools.

The program provides various kind of skills required for understanding the business format, collaborating theory with application of it. It will train students of solving the business problems through providing the opportunity research at related subjects.

The various research topics will involve a strategic business issue of the respective individual’s company or organization enabling them to understand and establish a groundwork for resolving them. Classes for this program will begin from April 2019.
