JEE Advanced result date released; Check details

JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced 2019, which was conducted on May 27th, its result date is out now. The result will be declared on June 14th this year.

Though, the cut-off for the admission to the IITs (Indian Institute of Technologies) will be released once the result is announced. The candidates will be able to look for the result on the official website jeeadv.ac.in.

This year around 1.65 lakh students registered for JEE Advanced. As compared to the result of last year, total no. of students, who qualified the exam were 31,988, which in 2017 was 51,000 and in 2016 it remained at 36,500.

The cut-off this year is to deprive expectedly. FIITJEE Noida branch head Ramesh Batlish said, “The cut-offs for admissions to IITs has been 30-35% of the total marks. This year I am expecting it to go between 27-30%, which will be roughly around 105+ marks out of 372 . This is because the number of applicants is comparatively lower and the number of seats at IITs has been increased due to the construction of newer IITs and also the introduction of supplementary seats.”

Though, the JEE AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) is to be conducted on June 17th, whose registration will be held on 14th and 15th June.

Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) is conducted by the IITs under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2019. The performance of the candidate in this examination forms the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s ,Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree Programmes in all the IITs.
