JEE Main 2019 Preparation Tips

From the year 2019, JEE Main is decided to be conducted by the National Testing Agency through CBT Mode. JEE Main is national level entrance exam conducted to provide admission into engineering programmes like B.Tech, B.E, B.Plan and B.Arch. Qualified students will be provided admission into various prestigious institutions like IIT, CFTI, NIT etc.

To qualify the entrance candidates are required to follow some effective preparation tips which will increase their chances of clearing the exam. Some of the preparation tips are provided below:

Go through Complete Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Before starting the JEE Main 2019 Preparation, it is essential for the students to know the complete syllabus and exam pattern. Students can check the complete syllabus and pattern from the official website of NTA. Candidates will get to know the topics included in the syllabus and various other details like the number and types of questions, marking pattern, time duration, exam mode etc.

Make an Appropriate Timetable

Before the beginning of preparation, candidates must plan and make appropriate timetable. The timetable must be made in such a way that it covers all the essential topics that are to be studied. The timetable prepared must be followed by the candidates in a disciplined way.   

Make Study Notes

Students at the time of their exam preparation must make notes. All the important points and concepts must be noted down by the students at one place. In this way students will be able to prepare topics in an easier way.

Solve Sample Papers and Past Papers

Candidates must solve the previous year’s papers and sample papers for a good practice. In this way students will improve their speed and accuracy level and also get to know the question trend of the exam. Also candidates will able to guess the types of questions coming in the exam.

Make Your Concepts Clear

It is very important for the candidates to clear their concepts in every topic. Preparing without clearing concepts will create confusion in candidates. Important formulas and concepts must be noted down.

Take Care of Your Health

To keep mind active candidates must take care of themselves. Candidates must take care of their eating, sleeping and other habits. Also don’t overstress yourself by studying for long hours. Take regular breaks between your preparation periods.

Work on Speed and Accuracy

To score good in the exam, candidates must work on their speed and accuracy. To attempt maximum questions and attain maximum marks candidates are required to answer questions within the time limit allotted for the paper.
